Finlay Minerals is a Vancouver-based mining company focused on the exploration and development of high value base and precious metal deposits in northern British Columbia. The management team has a proven track record within the industry with > 100 years experience in the mining and exploration industry throughout the world including Canada, the United States, and South and Central America.
The Company has 100% ownership of four geologically exceptional properties with known mineral occurrences: the ATTY, PIL, SAY and Silver Hope Properties.
The ATTY Property is adjacent and contiguous to Centerra Gold’s Kemess Underground and Kemess East deposits. Both these deposits are within a kilometer of ATTY’s border. The ATTY has two drill-ready targets.
The PIL-GOLD Property represents a major advancement in the Company’s portfolio. It is the site at which a significant copper-silver mineralized alkali porphyry system and a silver-gold epithermal system were discovered in late 2016.
Previous discoveries on this property include several gold-silver epithermal systems and several copper porphyry systems.
The property is in the heart of the Toodoggone within the Quesnel terrane, a 1,000km belt of volcanic rocks hosting many open pit-bulk tonnage copper-gold-silver mines associated with alkali porphyry systems. These properties include the former Kemess Mine and associated Kemess Underground and Kemess East deposits of Centerra Gold, the Mt. Milligan Mine of Centerra Gold, the Mt. Polley Mine of Imperial Metals, the New Afton Mine of Newgold and the Copper Mountain Mine of Copper Mountain Mining.
The PIL-Gold was optioned to Cascadia Minerals Ltd. (formerly ATAC Resources Ltd.) in 2022 for a 70% interest in the property.
The SAY Property is the Company’s newest property, acquired in 2024, with a 4.3 km high-grade copper-silver mineralized trend in the Stikine terrane south of the Toodoggone properties.
The Silver Hope Property adjoins, surrounds and is on-trend with what was once the province’s largest silver mine – the Equity Silver Mine. The Silver Hope Property has yielded two major discoveries in the last 10 years: a copper-molybdenum porphyry and a new gold-silver-copper discovery.
In 2023, Finlay identified seven priority targets on the Silver Hope and is actively working to advance each of them.
